What does the "Practitioner" platform include?The Neighborhood Nurse model includes the following: Your profile on the Neighborhood Nurse site Online patient scheduling with patient payment and all consent forms Neighborhood Nurse SOAP charting app Telehealth module E-prescribe tool, with EPCS for controlled substances Lab set-up with major vendors (LabCorp, Quest, or CPL)

Do I need malpractice insurance?Yes, while you are utilizing the platform to encounter patients you will be covered under the malpractice policy. You are NOT covered if you provide services outside of the platform.

How do I get paid?As your patients schedule appointments and make payment, you will receive the funds through a direct deposit on the 1st and 3rd Friday's of each month.

How do NPs typically market themselves?Our most successful NPs begin with a patient base consisting of friends and family. Here are a few ways that NPs market to their friends and family. Direct friends & family to the website to schedule Add a link to your Facebook or Instagram pages Invite patients through the app to schedule Market your niche on social media in posts or live videos

How long does it take to get started?It typically takes 1-2 weeks to go-live. The process can be expedited if the NP provides initial information, like their CAQH ID and NPI quickly!

What services do I provide?You may provide any and all services up to the scope of your license. Common services provided by our NPs are noted below: Primary care services Mental health services Minor urgent care services Telehealth Home visits Weigh loss services, including injections like LIPO-C and B-12 Botox & aesthetic services Medication refills

Do I set my own schedule?Yes! You set your own schedule including the times that you are available and the length of your appointments.

How much should I charge for my services?Your services are truly yours, so you can set your own prices. Upon request, Neighborhood Nurse will provide average pricing for select services.

I have a full time job. Can I do this?Yes! We serve a range of NPs that are using our platform to work full and part-time, or gig and as needed to make extra side money.

I already have my own EHR. Can I still work with you?Yes, even NPs that have their own EHR, but need a scheduling intake platform, or would like to be included on our website can work with us for a low, affordable monthly fee. Malpractice would NOT be included. Please contact our team for details.
