Kris is the founder and CEO of Neighborhood Nurse®. She provides the vision and strategy for the organization. Her successful career track record in healthcare includes senior level roles at four Fortune 500 company subsidiaries of CIGNA, John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company, Mercer and Aon. Her most recent roles include senior level positions focused on consumer health & wellness programs and services at both Alere, Inc (formerly Matria Healthcare, Inc) and WorldDoc, Inc. Her early years were spent dedicated to clinical care settings in the Southeast.
Mr. Kirschner is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining Northside Hospital, he was chairman, president and CEO of National Service Industries (NSI), a Fortune 500 company. Prior to NSI, he was the president of the Electric Motor Division of General Dynamics Corporation. He presently serves on the boards of several healthcare focused entities in Atlanta, and he has been appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Georgia Board of the Department of Community Health, the lead agency in Georgia for the health care planning and purchasing with an annual budget of $ 11 billion. He also serves as the head of school at the Davis Academy. He provides Neighborhood Nurse with strategic advice and guidance with a focus on our sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Don has administrative oversight responsibility and will be a key advisor/evaluator of the pilot operations for NN. His experience spans, training and expertise in medical management, clinical medicine, healthcare business administration, and healthcare informatics. His most recent roles include Executive Vice President of Health Intelligence at Alere, Inc. and Senior Vice President of Healthcare Informatics at Matria Healthcare, Inc. He has a nationally recognized background with his selection by the Case Management Society of America, as an industry thought leader for the Case in Point Leadership Issue, 2010. Also, he received the Disease Management Association of America’s Annual Award for Outstanding Individual Leadership in 2006.
Mr. Walbert is a partner in the law firm of Parks, Chesin & Walbert in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been engaged in the practice of law since 1973; his primary focus is medical malpractice, complex litigation and civil rights. He has practiced before state and federal courts, appeared before both Georgia state and federal appeals courts and has appeared several times before the Supreme Court of the United States. Also Mr. Walbert is the co-editor of Abortion, medicine and the Law, revised and updated treatises including chapters authored by experts from around the world concerning all aspects of the abortion debate. His business and investment experience includes 20 years of management experience of a multi-million dollar law firm; he’s an experienced investor in small and start-up technology businesses and has advised and served on the boards of technology ventures.
Mr. Hunter is a senior associate and tax manager with the regional accounting firm of Dixon Hughes, PLLC- Atlanta office. Dixon Hughes is the largest regional accounting firm in the southeast and in the top 20 rated firms in the nation. He completed his law degree early in his career and work in the financial services advisory area with First Union before migrating to the accounting field. He is a strategic business advisor to multiple clients of the firm and has been the preparer of the One2One Health, LLC d/b/a since inception in 2004.
